Explorer++

Although the file browser included with Windows is improved with each new version, it can't compete with the alternatives made by third parties that include more and better features.

Explorer++ is a good example of what the Windows file manager could be one day. It provides necessary features, like a side file browsing panel, bookmark support, tabbed browsing, and six different file views.

Explorer++ also has shortcuts to the main system directories (pictures, music, documents, etc.), a customizable toolbar, and a file previewer that's similar to the one in Windows Vista.

Explorer++ is an excellent alternative to the default browser which comes built into Windows.
